To unlock the full potential of your Bonsello candle, let it burn for at least 2-3 hours, allowing the majority of the wax surface to gracefully melt to a ¼ inch depth. Our wax has a memory, so let it set the right vibes from the first burn. Ensure that your candle is kept away from children, window treatments, and pets. Place it on a non-flammable base or tray to cradle your candle and protect your surfaces.
COMPLETE THE JOURNEY
Savor the fragrance by limiting each burn to 4 hours max. We discourage unsupervised burning or exceeding the 4-hour mark.
Employ a snuffer for a smokeless finale, as a gentle extinguishment preserves the candle’s essence whilst preventing any debris from falling into the wax pool. After extinguishing, allow the melted wax to cool and harden completely before attempting to move or store the candle. At the start of your next Bonsello candle session, trim the wick using a wick trimmer or delicately pinching burnt debris from wooden wicks.

Should your wood wick encounter difficulty, we recommend extinguishing the candle, employing a twisted paper towel dipped in the melted pool to absorb excess wax, and subsequently attempting to relight.
Mitigating Candle Tunneling
To avert tunneling, ensure a burn time of 1-2 hours, allowing the entire top layer to liquefy. This practice fosters an even burn, precluding the formation of a sloping tunnel.
Remedying Tunneling Occurrences
In instances of inadvertent tunneling, employ a foil wrap around the tin with a designated hole for wick lighting. This method serves as an oven, facilitating the gradual melting of edges. Always allow the initial burn to reach the edge for the establishment of a memory ring.
